Kodak Xtralife Alkaline battery C LR14 Blister of 2

Two C cells, which is the size the larger wands and the heavier massagers use, and the one most households do not have lying around. Alkaline rather than zinc, so they hold up under the steady draw a motor puts on them. Take them out of a toy that is going in a drawer for a while, since a leaking cell ruins the contacts.
