PDX Elite Ass-Gasm Explosion Kit
Anal starter toys are the small ones: slim plugs, short beads, finger sized probes and training kits with three sizes in a box. The back door works differently from the front, with two rings of muscle that need time and patience rather than force, and the toys in this category are built for exactly that: small enough to be comfortable the first time, with a base so nothing can go wrong. This guide explains what to buy first, what size means here, and how the first few times should go.
What to buy first
A tapered plug of 2.5 to 3 centimetres across and 8 to 10 long, in silicone, with a flared base, is the classic first toy: it goes in gradually, the neck lets the muscles close and hold it, and it can be worn while doing something else. A training kit with three sizes is the sensible alternative, because the next step is in the box when you are ready. Beads with small, graduated balls are a gentler way to learn the sensation.
Size
The numbers that matter are width at the widest point and length. A finger is about 2 centimetres across; a first toy should not be much more than 3. Length under 10 centimetres is enough for a plug, because the sensation is at the entrance, not deep. Anything described as beginner but wider than 3.5 centimetres is not.
The base
Every anal toy needs a flared base, a T-bar or a ring wider than the toy, because the rectum does not stop a toy the way the vagina does. This is the one rule that has no exceptions.
The first time
Time, lubricant and relaxation, in that order. Use a water based lubricant and more than seems reasonable; the rectum makes none. Start with a finger, breathe out as the toy goes in, and stop at the first sign of pain, which means slow down or stop, not push through. A plug can stay in for twenty minutes to an hour at first. Cleaning up is a towel and a shower.
Material
Silicone for a first toy: smooth, non porous, boilable, and it warms to the body. Skip the cheap jelly and PVC starter kits; they are porous, they smell, and they wear out.
Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
It should not. Pressure and a stretching feeling at the entrance are normal; sharp pain is the signal to stop. Lubricant, patience and a smaller toy solve almost every problem.
Plug, beads or probe?
A plug to get used to fullness; beads to learn the entrance; a probe to move. A training kit of plugs is the most useful single purchase.
How long until the next size?
When the current size goes in without effort and can be worn comfortably for half an hour, usually a few weeks of occasional use. Not before.
Do I need a douche?
No. A bowel movement an hour or two before and a shower are enough for toys this size. A bulb douche is a choice, not a requirement.
Can it be shared?
Silicone washed with soap or boiled between users, yes. Anything porous, no; a condom on the toy is the easy answer.
