An XXL dildo is anything well beyond the size of a body: 20 centimetres and more of insertable length, a girth past 15 centimetres, or both. People buy them for the feeling of being stretched and filled to the limit, for the slow work of getting there, and sometimes just to own one. They are not first toys, and they are not toys to rush. This guide explains what to look for, how to read the numbers, and how to use one without getting hurt.

An XXL dildo does not have to be only thick. This department has long dual density models from Lovetoy and SilexD, from about 25 to 41 centimetres, and special shapes such as the Max & Co Blade sword dildo, 47 cm with a handle instead of a suction cup. To choose your XXL dildo, look at the diameter and the insertable length on each product page first, and compare them with the largest toy you already use comfortably. Dildos in stock ship within 24 hours on working days, in a plain box.

Girth before length

Girth is what the body has to accommodate; length only matters once girth is comfortable. A circumference of 15 to 17 centimetres is large for most people, 18 to 20 is very large, and above that is the territory of a small number of experienced users. Length past 20 centimetres is rarely used to the base; it is bought for the look and the option. If in doubt, buy the girth you can nearly take now and grow into it.

Shape makes the difference

A gentle taper and a smooth, rounded head make a large toy far easier to take than the numbers suggest. A shaft that starts slim and widens gradually lets the body open with each centimetre. A big flared head, a knot, or ridges near the widest point make the same toy much harder. For a first XXL, choose smooth and tapered; texture and knots come later.

Firmness

Large toys in soft silicone squash and bend, which makes them feel smaller than they measure and easier to insert; very large toys in firm silicone press their full size against the body from the first centimetre. Dual density, a firm core inside a soft skin, is the best of both and is what the better XXL makers pour. A shaft that is too soft to stand up on its own also cannot be sat on.

Material

Platinum silicone only. Large toys in TPE, PVC or jelly are common because they are cheap to cast at this size; they sweat, smell, sag and cannot be sterilised, and a porous toy this big is a lot of surface to keep clean. A large silicone toy costs more and lasts for many years.

Base and weight

A large toy is heavy, and a suction cup on tile is the usual way to use one hands free. Check that the base is wide enough to sit on safely and that the cup grips on a smooth surface. Anything used anally must have a base wider than the widest part of the shaft, which for an XXL is very wide indeed. Harness use is rare at this size; the weight pulls the harness down.

Working up to it

Nobody takes an XXL cold. Warm up with a smaller toy, use far more lubricant than usual, and add it again during use. Go a little further each session, not each minute; stretching is slow and the tissue needs days between sessions to recover. Stop at pain, at any sharp sensation, and at any bleeding. Thick, long lasting water based lubricant is the type for this; a pump bottle saves a lot of reaching.

Care

Wash with warm water and soap; boil or run through a dishwasher without detergent to sterilise if the toy fits. Dry fully and store lying flat, on its own, out of sunlight. A large silicone toy stored standing up on a soft base can deform over months.

Frequently asked questions

Which size counts as XXL?

Roughly 20 centimetres or more insertable, a circumference above 15 centimetres, or both. Below that is large; above 20 centimetres in circumference is extreme.

Can a beginner use one?

Not as a first toy. Start with a medium size, get used to it over weeks, and move up in small steps. A three size set is a better first purchase than one big toy.

Is it safe?

With silicone, a proper base, patience and lubricant, yes. The risks come from rushing, from porous materials and from a toy without a base used anally.

Which lubricant?

Thick water based, and plenty. It cushions more than thin formulas and stays where it is put. Reapply during use; a large toy carries lubricant away fast.

Does the whole length have to go in?

No. Most people use half to two thirds of an XXL. The extra is for the hand, the suction cup and the look.
