Chisa Bondage Rope Bing Love

Ten metres of rope at 0,9 centimetres thick, in a blend of terylene and cotton. That thickness is the number to notice: nine millimetres is thicker than the six or seven millimetres used for most tying, which spreads the pressure over a wider band and is kinder to skin.

The cotton in the blend gives grip so knots hold, and the synthetic gives strength and stops it fraying at the cut ends. Ten metres is a single tie rather than a harness. Keep rope off the front of the neck and the inside of the wrists, check for cold fingers every few minutes, and keep safety scissors within reach. Wash it in a pillowcase on a cool cycle and hang it to dry in a loose coil.
