Air-Pulse Vibrators

An air pulse vibrator, also called a clitoral sucker, is a stimulator that does not touch the clitoris: a soft mouthpiece seals over it and sends rhythmic waves of air pressure and gentle suction. It is the toy many women reach orgasm with fastest, including those who never did with an ordinary vibrator, and it suits anyone who prefers intense but indirect, friction-free stimulation.

We stock more than 30 air pulse stimulators from €26.95 to €212.95, plus replacement Climax Tips heads for Satisfyer from €7.95. Most are Satisfyer, between €29.95 and €40.95; Lelo, Fun Factory, Fantasy For Her, Chisa and IntoYou complete the range.

How air pulse works

A membrane inside the toy moves back and forth and changes the air pressure in the mouthpiece. The result is a pull and release over the clitoris, often compared to oral sex, without anything rubbing. Because there is no friction, it does not numb the way a strong vibrator can, and it works through the hood.

Where to start

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 2 (€33.95) is the classic first air pulse toy and has been sold millions of times. The Satisfyer Perfect Kiss (€40.95) adds three membrane positions, which change the seal and the intensity, for 30 programmes in total. The Secret Kiss (€31.95) looks like a lipstick, and the Pro To Go 1 (€30.95) is made for travel.

Air pulse plus vibration

Many toys combine the pulse with vibration. The Satisfyer Cloud Dancer and Sugar Rush (€29.95 to €37.95) add a vibrating side, the Lelo Enigma (€149) adds an internal arm that vibrates against the G-spot, and the Fantasy For Her Ultimate Pleasure Pro Plus (€212.95) combines suction, a moving tongue and a G-spot arm, with a button that releases the suction instantly. If you also enjoy internal stimulation, a dual model is the best single toy to own.

Premium models

Lelo uses sonic waves instead of a classic pump: the Sona 2 (€100.95) has 12 functions and a larger oval mouth, and the Sila Cruise (€139) has a wide mouth plus Cruise Control, which keeps the power steady when you press it harder against the body. The Satisfyer Pret-a-porter (€83.95) has an aluminium body with liquid silicone.

The mouthpiece decides the fit

The opening has to seal around the clitoris for the pressure to work. A larger mouth covers a wider area and suits people who find a small one too pinpointed; a smaller one concentrates the effect. Replaceable heads, like the Satisfyer Climax Tips, keep the toy hygienic and let you try another size.

Noise, water and charging

Air pulse toys make a soft humming sound that becomes quieter once the mouth is sealed on the body. Almost all current models are waterproof and can be used in the bath. Charging is usually magnetic or USB; a full charge typically gives about an hour of use.

Care and lubricant

Rinse the mouthpiece and chamber with warm water after every use, remove the head if it comes off, and wash with mild soap or a toy cleaner. A drop of water-based lubricant on the rim helps the seal. Avoid silicone lubricant on silicone toys.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best air pulse vibrator for a beginner?

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 2: affordable, waterproof and with a wide range of intensities. If you want more control over the feeling, the Satisfyer Perfect Kiss adds three membrane positions.

Does an air pulse toy really touch the clitoris?

No. The mouthpiece seals around it and moves the air, so the stimulation comes from pressure waves, not contact or friction.

Why does my air pulse toy feel weak?

Usually the seal. Adjust the angle, add a drop of water-based lubricant to the rim, try another head size, or start on a higher setting.

Is an air pulse vibrator better than a normal vibrator?

Different. Air pulse is indirect and very effective for many people; a vibrator gives direct, firm stimulation. A dual model gives you both.

Can I use it in the bath or shower?

Most current air pulse toys are fully waterproof. Check the product page for each model.

Can I use it during sex with a partner?

Yes. It is small and quiet, a partner can hold it, and in face-to-face positions it reaches the clitoris during penetration.
