Obsessive Prima Neve Kimono (White)

Prima Neve is white satin with lace along the edges, tied at the waist with a bow you may or may not use. Left open it is a robe; tied it is a short dress. Satin is the difference here: it moves as one piece and catches the light instead of absorbing it, which is why it reads expensive from across a room.

Sizes are S/M and L/XL, in 95% polyamide with 5% elastane. Low stretch is right for satin, since a stretchy satin creases where it is pulled and never quite recovers.

Hand wash in cool water and dry flat, never on a hanger: wet satin stretches under its own weight and the shoulders go first. Do not iron it directly; if it needs smoothing, press it through a cotton cloth on the lowest setting.
