Obsessive Lovlea Lace Body

Lovlea is a lace body built out of bands rather than panels: strips of patterned lace run across the torso in a geometric arrangement, leaving skin between them in a way that follows the waist rather than cutting across it. The shoulder straps adjust, which is what keeps the pattern sitting where it was designed to sit.

Sizes are S/M and L/XL, in 90% polyamide with 10% elastane. A body made of bands needs the right length through the torso more than the right width, so if you are between sizes take the larger and shorten the straps.

Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and dry flat. Lace bands catch on rings and bracelet clasps more easily than solid fabric, so take jewellery off before you put it on, and store it flat rather than on a hanger which stretches the straps.
