Bondage Play Paddle Bamboo 37.2cm

A plain bamboo paddle, 37 centimetres long and five and a half wide, from Bondage Play. Bamboo is light, hard and smooth, which gives a sharp, clean sting rather than the thud of a padded leather paddle. The long handle gives a full grip and lets the wrist do the work.

It is a paddle for people who have used softer ones and want more bite, or for a first paddle used lightly. Because it is rigid and narrow, aim matters: buttocks and the backs of the thighs only, never anywhere with bone under the skin, and start far lighter than seems worthwhile.

Wood marks more readily than leather. If marks are unwanted, the padded paddles in the same category are the better choice. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and keep it dry; bamboo should not be soaked.
